A teen-ager was arrested Friday after he was accused of stealing an estimated $3,500 in valuables during a burglary Thursday at his uncle's home in Wilson, Niagara County sheriff's Investigator Patrick Weidel said.
David A. Surman, 17, of 6321 Robinson Road was charged with second-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny at 11 a.m. at his home by Weidel and Investigator Daniel Brown. His bail was set at $3,000.
Surman is accused of entering Michael Bubar's home on Daniel's Road with one or more accomplices on Thursday and stealing a television, videocassette recorder, compact disc player, stereo receiver, about $30 in coins, and credit cards, jewelry, a chain saw, a power saw and a power sander, Weidel said.
The investigation is continuing and more arrests may be pending.
