The Arts Council of Buffalo has named Cheryl A. Jackson director of technical assistance programs. Ms. Jackson previously worked as executive director of Buffalo Media Resources, known as Squeaky Wheel. She holds master's degrees in media studies and art history from the University at Buffalo and a BFA from the University of Arizona at Tucson.

The National Abortion Federation has elected Lucinda Finley to its board of directors. Ms. Finley is a professor of law at the University at Buffalo and has argued abortion clinics' right to establish buffer zones before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Rich Products Corp. appointed Teri Russo assistant marketing manager in the marketing development group of Rich's headquarters. Ms. Russo previously worked as an account executive at Wolf Mansfield Bolling, a Buffalo advertising agency. She graduated with honors from Medaille College.

Fieldbrook Farms Ice Cream Inc. in Dunkirk appointed Charles J. Davis vice president of operations. Davis was previously vice president of manufacturing at Jackson Ice Cream, a division of Kroger Foods Co. Fieldbrook also appointed Craig West Southeast Region sales manager working out of Tampa. He was previously business manager at Specialty Sales and Marketing and currently serves as president of the Central Florida Frozen Food Association.

Chiampou, Cantara, Travis & Dansa LLP has promoted Sean T. O'Hara to manager of the accounting firm. O'Hara joined the firm in 1993 from Lucernoni, Schulz, Thrasher & Wayne CPAs, where he was a staff accountant. The firm also hired Michelle Krajewski as a staff accountant. Ms. Krajewski is a graduate of Niagara University.

Carr Marketing Communications Inc. in Williamsville named John Isherwood an account executive. Isherwood, a graduate of West Virginia University, was formerly director of communications for the Buffalo Sabres.

Chase Manhattan Bank has appointed Catherine L. Hilton as manager of its Orchard Park branch. Before joining Chase, she worked as a relationship manager for Key Bank of New York. She holds an MBA from Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Villa Maria College has promoted Linda Fisher to assistant director of admissions. Ms. Fisher, a graduate of the University at Buffalo's School of Management, had been an admissions counselor at Villa since 1991.

The Buffalo Chapter of American Society of Women Accountants has elected Lisa Faturos, assistant controller at McGard Inc., president for 1997-98. The association elected Karen Spencer president-elect, to serve as president the following year.

K-D Supply Corp. in North Tonawanda named Brent W. Weicht outside sales representative, working out of the company's Rochester office. Weicht formerly worked as a sales engineer for Berendsen Fluid Power. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Wagner College.

The George M. Hollenback Study Club has named Vic Williams, manager of Latin American sales at Ivoclar-Williams in Amherst, an honorary member. The 35-year-old club meets annually to discuss new technology and procedures for placing gold restorations in the mouth.
