BASKETBALL: Registration for Depew's boys and girls program will be held Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Depew Ice Rink. Call 685-4910. . . . Men's (30-over) teams needed ($60 per team entry fee) for a Cheektowaga Sunday night league (except on Bills home-game days). Call 897-7207.

HOCKEY: Senior "A" players needed for a league at Holiday Twin Rinks and Leisure Rinks, where weekend leagues are also forming for "A", "B" and "C" players. Call 685-3660. . . . ROLLER BLADING: NASCAR driver Dick Trickle's Dura Lube show car will be on display from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sunday's Open Roller Blading and Celebrity Event at Mil-Sher Floor Hockey, 1520 Military Road. Proceeds from $5 admission tickets benefit Children's Hospital. Call 875-2249.

SOCCER: Buffalo Premier FC will hold tryouts for boys in five age groups at Lancaster Senior High School starting on Saturday. The schedule: Under 10 -- Saturday and Oct. 4, both at 10 a.m.; Under 12 -- Saturday, noon; Under 13 -- Oct. 4, 10 a.m.; Under 14 -- Sunday, 1 p.m.; Under 16 -- Saturday, Oct. 5 and Oct. 12, all at 1 p.m. Call Dave Kreger at 693-7059.
