Renovation work at Rogers School should be finished in time to for students to be back in their regular building Oct. 14.
Jamestown School Superintendent Craig King told the School Board Monday night that "the project is on target."
"The roof has been completed," he said. "The heating system is operational. There is some flooring work being done, and we are looking at returning students after the Columbus Day break."
Most Rogers students are having classes in the former St. James School building.
James Coffman, director of secondary and middle-level education, was also named assistant superintendent and will get $5,500 extra.
