Loretta A. Palmer, a retired Department of Defense employee, died in her Freedom home Tuesday (Sept. 23, 1997). She was 73.
Mrs. Palmer retired in 1981 after more than 20 years' employment with the federal government.
Born in Buffalo, the former Loretta Albanesi served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. She was stationed stateside as a private first class.
Survivors include her husband, John; two daughters, Rosann Trzcinski of Lancaster and Camille Stodgell of Glendale, Ariz.; two sons, Joseph Vaughn of Glendale and Richard Sugg Jr. of Depew; a brother, Anthony Albanesi; and 12 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's on the Hill Catholic Church, Lancaster.
