The Chautauqua County fire investigation team Wednesday night was looking for the cause of an explosion that destroyed a house on Bush Road, injuring two.

A Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department spokesman said the house was "obliterated."

Two people reportedly outside the house at the time of the explosion were injured, with one going to WCA Hospital in Jamestown and the other, flown by Lifestar helicopter to a hospital in Erie, Pa. Names and conditions have not been released.

Clymer, Sherman and Findley Lake fire departments were called just after 7:30 p.m.
