3:34 -- 1658 Weston Ave., attempted burglary. Nicholas J. Curtis said a key was broken off in his front door.

4:45 -- 719 Ashland Ave., American Red Cross parking lot, criminal mischief. James A. Snell said the vent window of a company van was shattered.

5:30 -- 22 B St., criminal mischief. LaDeen J. Masters said a youth hit her son's bike with a baseball bat, bending both rims.

5:55 -- 7200 Niagara Falls Blvd., Tops market, petit larceny. Jackie Moxley said her cell phone was taken from her purse, which was in her shopping cart.

6:40 -- 515 19th St., attempted burglary. Abbe L. Billingham said the lock on a rear door was pried, but entry was not made.

7:49 -- 2483 Ninth St., burglary. Carmella L. Lowe said a man forced open a bedroom window screen and took a pair of blue jeans, red nylon pants and boots.

9:45 -- 123 12th St., stolen vehicle. Jacqueline R. Jefferson said her car was taken.

10:25 -- 1500 block of Pierce Avenue, miscellaneous investigation. Police said a woman left Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center without getting treatment for her 5-year-old son for a possible skull fracture or concussion. The woman said she left because she called her health care provider and was told to put an ice pack on the boy's head. An ambulance was dispatched to take the boy back to the hospital, said police.

1:05 -- 1900 Falls St., arrest. Nancy M. Hanlon, 34, of Cudaback Avenue, charged with failure to pay a surcharge, criminal impersonation, resisting arrest, criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a forged instrument and petit larceny.

1:40 -- 100 block of 81st Street, harassment. A woman who said she is 14 weeks pregnant said a man slapped her several times in the face, pushed her into a wall and a chair, and pulled the telephone away from the wall.

2:50 -- 1337 Ontario Ave., larceny. Mercedes Hernandez said a man took her VCR.

3:30 -- 9121 St. John Parkway, arrest. Shari D. Carter, 36, of Porter Road, charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

8:20 -- 1201 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls High School, harassment. A 16-year-old boy said a man pushed him from behind in the hall and punched him in the forehead.

9:10 -- 1736 Lafayette Ave., arrest. Willie J. Erving, 31, of Buffalo, charged with assault after Douglas D. Lozina said he punched him in the cheek, pushed him to the ground and punched him in the mouth.

9:53 -- 1317 Portage Road, Niagara Falls YMCA parking lot, criminal mischief. Robert A. Doane said the vent window in his car was broken and the ignition damaged.

11:05 -- 13th Street and Willow Avenue, arrest. Donnie G. Woods, 24, of Willow Avenue, charged with failure to appear.

11:40 -- 719 Ashland Ave., parking lot, criminal mischief and larceny. An employee of Opportunities Unlimited said the vent window of a company van was broken and a cell phone and pager removed from the glove box.

12:20 -- 1500 Military Road, LaSalle High School, petit larceny. Richard Condino said $150 of students' money was stolen from an envelope inside his desk.

12:21 -- Highland and Centre avenues, arrest. Carl N. Lightfoot, 17, of Southgate, charged with failure to pay fines.

2 -- 2414 Cleveland Ave., criminal mischief. Patty J. Hewitt said her home's front door and lock were damaged.

2:15 -- 1022 Main St., larceny. A city employee said a 12-volt battery and flashlight were taken from a city vehicle.
