Marion Carmen "Ozzie" Ozzimo, 79, of 29th Street, who retired as a machinist from the former Hooker Chemicals & Plastics Co., died Monday (Sept. 22, 1997) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston.
Ozzimo served in the Civilian Conservation Corps during the late 1930s.
He worked at Hooker, now known as Occidental Chemical Corp., retiring in 1978.
Survivors include his wife, the former Mary E. Nero; a son, Peter C.; three daughters, Gae Neumann of St. Joseph, Minn., Cynthia of Sedona, Ariz., and Karen Salciccioli; two sisters, Teresa Moore of California and Sylvia Bruccoleri of Las Vegas; three brothers, Victor of Las Vegas, Tony of Orlando, Fla., and Peter of California; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:15 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1413 Pine Ave., after services at 8:45 in M.J. Colucci & Son Funeral Chapel, 468 19th St.
