REV. MATTIMORE APPOINTED CANISIUS HIGH PRINCIPAL

The Rev. John J. Mattimore, formerly assistant headmaster at Fordham Preparatory School in New York City, has been named principal of Canisius High School.

Prior to his post at Fordham, Mattimore was a teacher at Canisius, as well as Nativity Mission and Xavier High School, both in New York. He succeeds the Rev. David Ciancimino, who took a position at Xavier High School. Canisius, at 1180 Delaware Ave., has more than 700 students in ninth through 12th grades.
