3 -- 407 10th St., burglary. Jamica V. Crittenden said a man took $180, two gold rings and a necklace from her apartment.

4:06 -- Alley in the 1100 block between Ontario and North avenues, assault. Devin S. Palmer said two women punched her about the head, face and body, and took her birth certificate and Social Security card from her purse.

4:14 -- Rainbow Mall parking ramps, stolen vehicle. James E. Farrell Jr. of Plano, Texas, said his car was stolen along with a wallet, credit and bank cards and a checkbook.

5 -- 1000 Portage Road, Tops market, arrest. Catia L. Bass, 17, of Ninth Street, charged with petit larceny.

5:10 -- 520 Hyde Park Blvd., Public Safety Building, arrest. Michael E. Adams, 32, of Grand Island, charged with violation of probation.

5:20 -- 1210 13th St., arrest. Lee V. Smith, 45, charged with assault after his wife Sandra said he punched her.

6:10 -- 1705 15th St., larceny. Richard C. Devlin said a man and a woman took his bed, TV, VCR and other items from his former home.

6:15 -- 1736 Lafayette Ave., arrest. Heather J. Rathke, 35, charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument and petit larceny.

6:18 -- 231 Third St., Holiday Inn, petit larceny. The manager said $411.76 was missing from July 27.

6:55 -- 3334 D St., petit larceny. A Rainbow Taxi driver said a two-way radio was stolen from his disabled cab.

7:11 -- 1625 Lockport St., Harry F. Abate School, larceny. Angela H. Greene said a boy took her bike.

8 -- 1932 Main St., P.M. Niagara bar front, assault. Gregory D. Minor said a man pulled out a small knife and cut him about the face, neck and shoulder area.

9:10 -- 466 24th St., arrest. James P. Malicki, 47, charged with disorderly conduct.

9:45 -- Eighth Street and Ferry Avenue, arrest. Newton E. Isom Jr., 21, of Jordan Gardens, charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property.

9:47 -- 1650 98th St., burglary. Stephen J. Stanek said two men forced open a screen and took his computer system and monitor.

11:10 -- 445 1/2 Elmwood Ave., criminal mischief. Darryl L. Martha said the hood, roof and trunk of his car were damaged.

1:30 -- 809 Chilton Ave., petit larceny. Edward Perlman said his cell phone and wallet with three credit cards and personal papers was stolen. A woman later said she found his wallet with the credit cards and returned it.

2:45 -- Quay Street and Rainbow Boulevard, arrest. Gary D. McCormick, 29, of Third Street, Youngstown, charged with harassment, violation of probation and assault.

8 -- 7900 Niagara Falls Blvd., Niagara Rainbow Motel, petit larceny. Peter A. Day of Scarbrough, Ont., said a woman took $39 from his wallet while he was sleeping.

8:30 -- 1919 Lockport St., criminal mischief. Cameo A. Cowart said a woman threw white paint on her car and glue on the windows.

8:40 -- 520 Hyde Park Blvd., arrest. Aaron M. Shiah, 19, of Niagara Street, charged with failure to appear and possession of marijuana.

9:15 -- 511 12th St., arrest. Erik K. Ostertag, 19, charged with failure to pay fines and two counts of failure to appear.

10:12 -- Memorial Parkway and Niagara Street, arrest. Jeffrey J. Smith, 32, of 15th Street, charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

11:12 -- 1590 Buffalo Ave., Community Missions, petit larceny. John N. Marschke said unknown items were taken from a storage room.

3:10 -- 1019 Main St., Chu's Restaurant, harassment. Makia L. Bibbs said a woman and a man grabbed her about the arms and neck when she tried to leave.
