Center Igor Larionov is again a Detroit Red Wing, legalities aside.
Larionov, 36, has agreed to a three-year deal with a no-trade clause worth $5.3 million to $5.5 million, but it will not become official until today or Friday. Larionov, an unrestricted free agent, has played in Detroit since a 1995 trade from San Jose.
"We've got 95 percent of it done," Wings general manager Ken Holland said.
Larionov's deal is worth about $1.9 million in the first two seasons and about $1.5 million in the final year. The cumulative base salary will not exceed $5.5 million.
