He worked at Tops on Union Road and George Urban Boulevard, Cheektowaga. He also worked for Hospice Buffalo in the dietary department.

Kosmoski played intramural sports in the Peter Machnica Center in Buffalo and competed in the Gus Macker basketball tournament. He also was a guitarist.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Solowski; his father, Edward of Depew; a sister, Tracey; a brother, Edward; his maternal grandparents, Walter and Trudy Solowski; his paternal grandmother, Alice Kosmoski of Amherst; and his great-grandmother, Celia Ratka.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday in SS. Rita & Patrick Catholic Church, Fillmore and Eagle streets. Burial will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery, West Seneca.
