Several appointments to various Cattaraugus County boards have been made by Legislature Chairman Gerard J. Fitzpatrick.
New appointments to the county Youth Bureau board of directors are: Herb and Katelyn Clark of Cattaraugus, Melissa Winship of Great Valley and Arthur E. Cooney Jr. of Salamanca.
Acting Sheriff Ernest J. Dustman of Olean and acting Undersheriff Richard E. Haberer of Franklinville have been appointed to the Alternatives To Incarceration Advisory Board. The changes are the result of the resignation of former Sheriff Jerry E. Burrell, who took a job in Albany.
Named to three-year terms through July 31, 2000, on the county Planning Board are: Paul R. Bishop and Ann Padlo of Olean, Paul D. Mager of Salamanca and Leon E. Wright of Franklinville.
Legislator Earl E. Helms, R-Delevan, was appointed to the Municipal Airport Advisory Committee through Dec. 31, replacing Haberer who resigned as a legislator to become undersheriff.
Diane Soulvie of Franklinville was appointed to the Microenterprise Development Loan Fund Committee replacing Ronald Krasinski.
Fitzpatrick was named to a post on the Law Enforcement Block Grant Program Advisory Panel to a term expiring Dec. 31, 1999.
Ashford Supervisor William T. King was appointed a director of the Southern Tier Regional Planning Board through Dec. 31. He replaces Steven Smith of Yorkshire.
