A special summer celebration with concerts, children's events and fireworks will be held Saturday in the Quaker Beach Run area of Allegany State Park.
Events begin at 11 a.m., said James M. Rich, assistant director of state parks for the Western District-Allegany Region.
An arts, crafts and antiques festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. will feature more than 30 vendors.
A chicken barbecue will be available starting at 11 a.m., provided by the Coldspring Fire Department.
Throughout the day, nature programs will be offered, including a pond and stream safari at 10 a.m., tours of the Old Quaker Store Museum from 1 to 5 p.m., and a tour of Thunder Rocks at 3 p.m.
Children's art will be displayed, with artwork from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Orchard Park, East Aurora, Tonawanda, Depew, Lancaster, Jamestown and Salamanca.
A beach party will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Freddie and the Jets will play music from the '60s and '70s.
At 4:15 p.m., members of the Boys and Girls Club of Orchard Park will perform portions of the musical "West Side Story" and "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs."
From 5 to 7 p.m., Jared Newman, a singer and keyboard player, will perform contemporary music.
At 7:30 p.m., Bob Lucia of Franklinville and the Big Band Revival Orchestra will perform a concert of musical favorites from yesteryear. A lakeside area for dancing will be provided.
Fireworks at 10 p.m. will conclude the activities.
