PUBLIC MEETING TO ADDRESS PLANS FOR AMHERST PARK

The second of three public meetings on a planned 1,260-acre nature park in northwest Amherst is set for 7 tonight in Williamsville South High School.

Town officials are seeking input from the public on what they would like to see in the park, located in an area generally bounded by Sweet Home, North French and Tonawanda Creek roads and Campbell Boulevard. The final session is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sept. 16 in Amherst Central High School, said Jason Engel of the Amherst Planning Department.
