Marjorie M. Wolfe, who operated a farm off Checkered Tavern Road with her husband for many years, died Saturday (July 26, 1997) in Newfane Health Facility. She was 83.
A lifelong Appleton resident, the former Marjorie M. Jesson was a member of Newfane Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her hobbies included flowers and gardening.
Her husband, William H. Sr., died in 1985.
Survivors include three sons, Roger of Rochester, William H. Jr. and Christopher; a daughter, Marilyn Luscher; a brother, John Jesson of Akron; three sisters, Stella Aker of Lockport, Grace Seeloff of Barker and Lucy Hetherley; 17 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Ave., Newfane. Burial will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.
