Jerome R. Richau, 59, a quality-control manager, died Friday (July 25, 1997) in his Steig Road home.
Richau was born in North Tonawanda and graduated from North Tonawanda High School. He completed a two-year program at Erie Community College in Buffalo.
He served in the Marines from 1957 to 1959.
Richau worked as a quality-control manager for Spaulding Composites in the City of Tonawanda for about 30 years before joining Curbell in Buffalo.
He enjoyed the outdoors and furniture refinishing.
Survivors include his wife, the former Lorraine Darlak; a son, Ronald; a daughter, Susan; and two grandsons.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road. Burial will be in Wheatfield Cemetery.
