Evelyn King Watson, 78, of Winter Haven, Fla., a former Java Center resident, died Wednesday (July 23, 1997) in the H. Lee Moffit Cancer Center in Florida.
The former Evelyn Branson, a native of Onton, Ky., moved from Java Center to Winter Haven in 1983.
She was a member of Onton Methodist Church in Onton, Ky., and the American Legion Women, Eastern Star and Elks Lodge Ladies Auxiliary in Delavan, Wis.
She was the widow of Kenneth Hall King.
Survivors include her second husband, Robert Watson; three sons, Kenneth P. King of Elma, William A. King of North Java and Robert F. King of Gainesville, Fla.; six daughters, Patricia A. Bradley of Titusville, Fla., Connie K. Ulrich of Elma, Beverly J. Wilson of Winter Haven, Debra L. Zielinski of Java Center, Jennifer L. Ambino of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Janet L. Bleechler of Arcade; a brother, Norris E. Branson of Evansville, Ind.; four sisters, Liola Raley of Lehigh Acres, Fla., Bessie Blue of Clay, Ky., Sarah J. Price of Winter Haven, and Georgia Parker of Evansville, ; 25 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Onton Cemetery, Ky.
