Under sunny Mediterranean skies, Prince Albert and Princess Caroline picked up one of France's highest honors.
French President Jacques Chirac awarded them French Legion of Honor designations Friday.
With their father, Prince Ranier III, the two paraded past guards. Chirac then decorated Albert with the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit and named Caroline an officer in the Legion of Honor.
It was the first state visit in more than a decade by a French president to this tiny principality, nestled between France and Italy.
