Presbyterian Homes of Western New York Inc., a Williamsville long-term care provider that operates five facilities, has made several appointments. David R. Taber has been named executive vice president/chief financial officer. Linda J. Taylor has been appointed vice president-marketing and business development. And, Jonathan Hart has been appointed administrator of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Manor, 1205 Delaware Ave.

Morris, Cantor, Barnes & Goodman, 1000 Liberty Building, has named Michael E. Reilly and James G. Brooker associates. Reilly will work in the law firm's Labor Practice Group in Cheektowaga and will focus on representation of trade union clients. Brooker will concentrate his practice in the areas of Workers' Compensation and Social Security.

Azerty Inc., a wholesaler of computer supply consumables, has made several appointments. Randy Jasinski has been promoted to senior electronic commerce coordinator. He had served as a sales representative for West Coast customers. Jasinski holds a bachelor's degree in marketing management from Canisius College. Tony Iacuzzo has been named purchasing manager in the product management department. He holds a master's degree in business administration from the University at Buffalo. Michael Moran has been named retail sales specialist of the supermarket retail products group. He holds a bachelor's degree in from the Rochester Institute of Technology. John Jahnke has been named junior electronic commerce coordinator. He will provide web site trouble shooting and EDI customer set-up assistance. And, Christopher Campise has been appointed programmer in the IS department. He will be involved with web site development. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Canisius College.

Scheff Insurance Agency Inc. in Amherst has appointed Julie A. Israel a commercial account executive. A licensed property casualty broker, she has been in the insurance industry for eight years.

The National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys has honored Jeffrey Freedman for its leadership role in the organization. Senior partner in the law firm of Jeffrey Freeman Attorneys at Law, he was one of the organization's founders and has served on the board in various capacities since its inception in 1993.

Nelson Prosthetic & Orthotic Laboratory has appointed Mark Zuchlewski to its professional staff. A board eligible, he has eight years experience in the prosthetic industry. Zuchlewski holds a bachelor's degree from Buffalo State College and completed the certificate program in prosthetics at the Northwestern University Prosthetic-orthotic Center.

Kendall Motor Oil's Kendall/Amalie Division of Sun Co. Inc. promoted Bradford, Pa., native Gregory W. Booth to general manager. He has been with Kendall for 26 years, starting as a sales engineer after graduating from Indiana (Pa.) University.

American Express Financial Advisors Inc., a national financial planning and services company, has named Mark C. Massaro a master adviser. He works at the Centerpoint Corporate Park office in Williamsville.

Dopkins & Co., a Buffalo certified public accounting and consulting firm, has named Michael Giammusso a business consultant for Dopkins System Consultants, and Pauline H. Soeffing a consultant for Dopkins Management Consulting. Giammusso formerly was a project leader at Cutting Edge Inc. He holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from UB. A certified radiographer, Ms. Soeffing previously was an administrator of a radiology group in Rochester. She holds an MBA from UB.

People Inc. has promoted Bob Greenauer to director of health related services, Karen Gustina to assistant director of health related services, and Paul Lepo to director of day treatment. Greenauer previously was program administrator of its Central Park Plaza Treatment Center, while Ms. Gustina formerly was quality improvement coordinator. Lepo, formerly director of health related services, holds a a master's degree in education from Buffalo State College.

BankAmerica Mortgage, a national mortgage lender, has appointed John C. Kates to residential loan officer in the Buffalo Residential Lending Center. A graduate of the University at Buffalo, he has more than 30 years of experience in banking and financial services.
