Three Hamburg teen-agers accused in several blow-dart attacks were arraigned Friday night by Hamburg Village Justice Thomas Rosinski.
Michael V. Czosnyka, 18, of 39 Haviland Place; Christopher Suzstak, 18, of 28 Prospect St.; and Adam Birkmeyer, 17, of 44 Church St. all pleaded innocent.
Their cases will be presented directly to a grand jury Sept. 26.
The three were charged by Hamburg village police with two attacks June 18 on Union Street. A jogger told police she was hit with a dart on her right side. That attack came shortly after another woman walking on Union Street pulled a dart from the back of her sweat shirt.
They are charged with second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Suzstak also faces charges placed by town police for a similar attack June 24 on Camp Road where a 17-year-old was shot with a six-inch dart while he was walking. He underwent surgery in Erie County Medical Center.
