Stephen M. Rogacki, 72, died Thursday (July 24, 1997) in Hillcrest Nursing Home, Cape Coral, Fla., after a long illness.
A long-time resident of Lancaster and Alden, Rogacki retired in 1980 from Erie County Penitentiary and moved to Cape Coral. He was a World War II Army veteran and held a private pilot's license. The Lancaster airfield was his home base.
Surviving are his wife, the former Janet Byron; two sons, Kevin M. of Osterburg, Pa., and Stephen J.; a daughter, Sandra Williams of Cape Coral; two step-daughters, Dianna L. Minger of Alden and Genie Rotundo of Bernhards Bay; a sister, Bertha of Depew; and three granddaughters.
A private service will be held.
