Robert W. Love, the chief engineer for the Holiday Inn on Grand Island for the past six years, died Wednesday (July 23, 1997) in Kenmore Mercy Hospital.

Love, 46, of 22nd Street, was born in Ridgway, Pa., but had lived in Niagara Falls for most of his life.

Love enjoyed reading and was interested in airplanes and astronomy.

He is survived by his wife, the former Victoria Koontz; three sons, Matthew of Florida, Santino and Elliot; a daughter, Rachel of Lewiston; his mother, Arlene of Weedville, Pa.; two brothers, David of Kersey, Pa., and Rick of Ridgway; a sister, Susan Catalone of Weedville; and a granddaughter.

Services were held today in Lane Funeral Home.
