A garden tour to benefit Genesee Country Village & Museum in Mumford will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Six private gardens will be open, including the Loretta and Paul Boylan Garden in LeRoy, the Mercygrove Retreat Center in LeRoy, the garden at the home of Genesee Country Village founder John L. Wehle, the Charlton Bed & Breakfast Inn in Avon, the Robert and Ronnie Hooper garden in Avon and the Robert and Carolyn McKee garden in Avon. Visiting hours vary; the tour costs $15, payable at any of the gardens. Call 538-6822.

The Western New York Iris Society will hold its annual rhizome sale and auction from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at 10725 South Park Ave., Clarence. The society will demonstrate the proper way to divide iris at 1:45 p.m. Iris rhizomes also will be sold Sunday at the Clarence flea market.

An herbal nutrition lecture by Linda Henry of Townsend, Del., is scheduled at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday at Something Different Herb & Gift Shop, 8187 E. Otto Road, Otto.

The Iron Island Preservation Society of Lovejoy is sponsoring a garden tour from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Start the tour and pick up maps at 230 Longnecker St.; call Marge, 895-5239.

The Buffalo Area Daylily Society will have an open garden day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Pick up a list of gardens open for tours at 9:30 a.m. from Peter Weixlmann, 280 Seneca Creek Road.
