FALLS INN EMPLOYEE ACCUSED OF STEALING

A woman employed by the Ramada Inn was arrested Wednesday and accused of stealing $2,000 worth of jewelry from the room of a tourist.

Emma McCall, 29, of 1151 Cleveland Ave. is charged with fourth-degree grand larceny.

A California woman told police jewelry was taken from her room between 8 and 9:30 a.m., while she was away, Detective John Donner said.

Ramada officials determined that Ms. McCall was the only person to enter the room at the time of the theft, Donner said.
