A memorial service for Everard E. Lee, 79, a former East Concord resident and electrician for Robinson Knife Co. in Springville, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in East Concord Community Church on Route 240. Burial will be in East Concord Cemetery.
Lee died Saturday (June 19, 1997) in his home in Aurora, Colo.
Born in Port Colborne, Ont., he moved with his family to Buffalo when he was 3 years old.
He was an Army infantry veteran of World War II.
Lee was employed by Robinson Knife for 37 years. He was a charter member of East Concord Volunteer Fire Department and served as Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 543 in Springville for six years.
He and his wife of 56 years, the former Virginia Cranston, moved to Colorado in 1982 after having lived in East Concord for 41 years.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Eugene of Colorado; three grandsons; and a great-grandson.
