COUNTING CROWS CANCELS DARIEN LAKE SHOW

Counting Crows has canceled tonight's show at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center. However, the Wallflowers and That Dog still will perform at 7 p.m.

The band's label, Geffen Records, cited "medical complications with lead singer Adam Duritz's vocal cords" as the reason for the cancellation.

Duritz's throat problems caused Counting Crows to cancel three other dates this week.

Lawn tickets for any of Darien Lake's upcoming performances -- excluding Phish -- will be given to all who attend the Wallflowers and That Dog concert.

According to a press release, refunds also are available at the point of purchase.
