Mayor Jeffrey Graham won $10,013 playing the state's Lucky Day lottery game Monday, more than the $10,000 annual salary he gets for being the city's top elected official.
"Yes, it has been a good year. I've made more at this than I do as mayor," said Graham, who won $3,000 earlier this year playing Quick Draw.
How lucky has Graham been?
He won the winning Lucky Day ticket in a promotion being run by the State Lottery.
Anyone picking at least six numbers in Quick Draw got a free Lucky Day quick pick.
The mayor didn't have any plans for the money.
He was just going to collect his winnings and enjoy the rest of the day.
"It kind of makes some of those other (city) issues take a back seat," he said.
