VICTIM SAYS MAN WITH DOG SHOT HIM IN BUTTOCKS

A Seventh Street man told Central District police he was shot twice Tuesday night in the buttocks by a man with a black and white pit bull, officers said.

Edward Bloom was taken to Buffalo General Hospital, where he was treated in the emergency room and later released, according to authorities.

The shooter walked into a residence on the 400 block of Seventh Street at 6:40 p.m. and said to Bloom, "You remember me" before firing two rounds from a silver handgun at him, officers said.

The attacker then fled in the direction of Pennsylvania Street, according to police.
