TEEN FACES VARIETY OF CHARGES

A teen-ager is scheduled to be arraigned today in Town of Little Valley Court on various charges, including punching a deputy sheriff and interfering with an ambulance call.

Shawn M. Vaughn, 17, faces charges of second-degree obstructing governmental administration, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and unlawful possession of marijuana.

The charges were lodged by an officer from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Department after Vaughn was asked to leave the scene of an ambulance call on Erie Street about 12:30 a.m. Monday.

He was arrested after he allegedly shouted obscenities and punched a deputy twice in his face.
