RONALD SNYDER

Ronald Snyder, a retiree of E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co., died Monday (July 21, 1997) in Lockport Memorial Hospital after apparently suffering a heart attack while bicycling in Lockport. He was 67.

Snyder, of 18th Street, was born in Niagara Falls and served in the Army from 1948 to 1950, including a time in Japan.

After his retirement, Snyder took many college courses.

Survivors include his companion, Gloria Lauer; a son, David E.; three daughters, Linda of York Haven, Pa., Denice Schultz and Jacqueline; two brothers, Duane E. of Lewiston and Douglas G. of San Jose, Calif.; a sister, Joan S. Cussen of Rochester; his former wife, Delores Foster Snyder; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday in LaSalle Park Chapel of Otto Redanz Funeral Home, 2215 Military Road, Town of Niagara.
