Richard J. Pyc of Grand Island, who has been associate director of Wyndham Lawn Home for Children since 1973, has been appointed executive director to serve until the expected merger of Wyndham Lawn with Randolph Children's Home in Cattaraugus County is completed.
Pyc succeeds Michael M. Moran as executive director of the 57-bed residential center and group home at 6395 Old Niagara Road. Moran retired June 30.
Gregory Speranza of Lockport, who had been coordinator of alternative education in the Barker Central School District, has been appointed principal of the Campus School at Wyndham Lawn, succeeding Raymond Gebhard who retired
after 13 years.
Plans were announced in February for Wyndham Lawn to explore merging with Randolph Children's Home, a 98-bed residential treatment center providing therapeutic foster care in Cattaraugus County.
The first steps toward a possible merger have included the hiring of a shared chief financial officer and continuing discussions between the boards of the two agencies.
