Buffalo police are seeking a witness to the May 26 shooting that killed a Cheektowaga woman.
A composite sketch of the witness was released Tuesday by police. She was described as a black woman in her 20s, with a thin build and light complexion and missing a front tooth on the left side of her mouth, authorities said.
The night of the shooting, which occurred on East Delavan Avenue near Chelsea Street, the woman was wearing a black and white checked jacket. She was driving a gray or light-blue Oldsmobile or Pontiac; the shooter was a passenger in the car, police said.
Tamika Means, 23, of Cheektowaga was shot in the head and died the next afternoon. The shooter has been described as a light-complected black man, about 25 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 250 pounds. He had a beard with a goatee and facial blemishes.
