EDEN SURVEILLANCE BRINGS ARREST OF THREE TEEN-AGERS

Three teens were arrested Tuesday at an Eden home that had been under police watch because of break-ins there recently, police said.

The Eckhardt Road homeowner had told police he thought someone was breaking in while he was at work. Officers Mark E. Dole and John H. McCarthy arrested the three at about 3 p.m.; a window screen had been popped to gain entry, McCarthy said.

Charged with burglary were John P. Duncan of Nelson Drive and Andrew Jasper of Jennings Road, both of whom are 16, and a 15-year-old boy whose name was not released because he is a minor. Additional charges are pending,
McCarthy said.

Following arraignment Tuesday evening before Eden Town Justice Michael Cooper, Duncan and Jasper were released to their parents. The case of the 15-year-old was referred to Family Court.
