WOMAN IS INJURED AS SHE IS DRAGGED BY MOVING CAR

A fight outside a Seneca Street bar turned ugly early today when a woman was dragged at least one block by a car with her arm caught in the rolled-up window, South District police reported.

Paula Hamm of Juniata Place suffered a broken right leg in the incident, according to police reports. She was listed in fair condition today in Erie County Medical Center.

Another woman, April Jackson of Hillside Avenue, was hanging onto the passenger-door frame and fell from the moving car, suffering various bruises.

Charged with felony and misdemeanor assault was Joanie K. Seagrave, 20, of Fleming Street. The incident occurred at about 3:30 a.m. outside Shamrock's Pub on Seneca Street.
