GRAND JURY RETURNS INDICTMENTS

Arraignments have been set for July 30 in Cattaraugus County Court for several people indicted Monday by a grand jury, including a man who tried to stop police from arresting him during a burglary in Salamanca.

Allen C. DeBoy, 19, of Salamanca was indicted on charges of third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and resisting arrest.

The charges stem from a burglary April 20 at The Deli on Center Street when police arrived and found the burglary in progress and tried to take DeBoy into custody. Damage to the business was more than $1,550.

In another case, Jasmine Subjeck, 18, of Olean was indicted on charges of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance between March 14 and July 3 involving a sale to an undercover police officer.

Michael D. White, 39, of Perrysburg was indicted on charges of first-degree reckless endangerment for a July 1 incident in Perrysburg.

Robert S. Larrimer, 34, of Yorkshire was indicted on charges of third-degree rape, third-degree sodomy and endangering the welfare of a child between July 1996 and February 1997 in Yorkshire.

Eric S. Hix, 27, of Jamestown was indicted on a charge of first-degree sexual abuse that allegedly occurred May 7.
