Shawn Burzik, 28, died Thursday (July 17, 1997) in his Lancaster home after a long illness.
The Buffalo native worked for Gintzler Graphics in Amherst for seven years.
He grew up in Lancaster and graduated from Lancaster High School. He also attended Bryant & Stratton Business Institute and Erie Community College.
Burzik started bowling at the age of 10 and was a member of the Pepsi-Cola Traveling League for juniors for eight years. He bowled at Transit Lanes and Broadway Sports Center.
He also enjoyed landscaping, making model car and woodworking.
Survivors include his mother, Jeanne of Lancaster; a brother, Frank of Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Sharon of Painted Post; and his fiancee, Jenn Eberle of Depew.
A Mass of Christian burial was offered today in St. Barnabas Catholic Church, Depew. Burial was in Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Bowmansville.
