MURRAY WINS FIVE-MILE TITLE

Trevor Murray of the West Side Runners won the New York Road Runners Club five-mile championship Sunday at Central Park in 24 minutes, 27 seconds.

Abidi Bouazza, who finished second in 24:36, led the Westchester Track Club to the 10-man team title with 169 points.

The Westchester Track Club also earned the women's title with a five-member total of 44 points. Marisa Hanson led the way in 27:51 to capture the gold medal.

The event had a field of 763 runners.
