Jamestown Community College is rolling back its tuition to 1983 levels for selected courses, through the State University of New York's discounted tuition program.

"In an effort to reach out to students who may not be served by traditionally scheduled classes, SUNY is permitting colleges and universities to offer discounted rates for courses scheduled at non-peak times or at off-campus locations," JCC President Gregory DeCinque said.

The credit courses would be applied to degree programs.

DeCinque said students may choose from some courses offered Friday evenings or Saturday mornings at JCC's Jamestown Campus. Another class at JCC's North County Center in Dunkirk also is eligible.
