Dominic Floro, 89, who had worked at the former Kimberly-Clark Corp. plant for 39 years, died Sunday (July 20, 1997) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after becoming ill in his 97th Street home.
Born in Falerna, Italy, Floro arrived in the United States in 1932. He retired from Kimberly-Clark in 1973 as a forklift operator.
He enjoyed traveling, gardening and bowling.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Carmela; a son, Santo; two sisters, Angelina DeSeni and Yolanda Boccasavio, both of Italy; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1413 Pine Ave., after prayers at 10 in M.J. Colucci & Son Funeral Chapel, 468 19th St. Entombment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery Mausoleum. (n/string)
