Actress Maureen O'Hara led a Hall of Fame ceremony honoring astronaut Thomas Stafford for a lifetime of flight.

Stafford, an Air Force test pilot who graduated to make Gemini, Apollo and Apollo-Soyuz space missions, was inducted into the National Aviation Hall of Fame on Saturday.

O'Hara, who became the first woman to head a commercial airline when she inherited Antilles Airboat, was celebrity guest host of the event, which also celebrated the U.S. Air Force's 50th anniversary.
