INFORMATION SESSION SET ON TEACHING IN POLAND

The Kosciuszko Foundation of Western New York will hold informational meetings Dec. 7 and 14 at 11 a.m. in the Reinstein Branch Library, 2580 Harlem Road, Cheektowaga, for teachers and college students interested in the 1997 Teaching English in Poland program.

Organizers and teachers who have taken part in the four-week summer program will discuss various aspects of living and teaching in Poland. Sponsored by the Kosciuszko Foundation in conjunction with UNESCO of Poland, it provides about 1,000 students with instruction and practice in
conversational English.

The language program is held at several camp locations around Poland for three weeks. During the fourth week, teachers and students tour Poland as guests of the Polish government.

Costs to instructors include round trip air fare and personal expenses. Those who cannot attend the informational meetings may send a letter of interest and a resume to Anthony Smaczniak, Kosciuszko Foundation, Language Camp Coordinator, 125 Goering Ave., Cheektowaga, NY 14225.
