The University of Maryland-College Park will replace Rutgers University as the host of the 1997 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Division I Final Four and the Division III Championship game next May 24-26. Rutgers will be unable to host the 1997 championships because of rehabilitation of the grass playing surface at 42,000-seat Rutgers Stadium.
