Ann L. Doherty, 67, of Cedar Avenue died Wednesday (Oct. 23, 1996) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
Born in Niagara Falls, the former Ann Cafaro was a lifelong resident. She was educated in Niagara Falls schools.
Mrs. Doherty was employed as a home-care aide for 12 years until 1980. Prior to that, she worked as a nurse's aide at St. Mary's Manor for 10 years.
She was a member of the Cristoforo Colombo Ladies Society.
She enjoyed the art and craft of ceramic making.
Mrs. Doherty is survived by three daughters, Patricia A., Barbara R. DiGregorio and Michele M.; three sisters, Jane Dattilo of the City of Tonawanda, Ruby Perry and Marie Galbo; a brother, Nicholas; two granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter.
A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in M.J. Colucci & Son Funeral Chapel, 468 19th St. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
