Services for Ruth Swick of Fifth Street were held today in Otto Redanz LaSalle Park Chapel, Town of Niagara.
Mrs. Swick died Sunday (Oct. 20, 1996) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a brief illness. She was 86.
The former Ruth Giles was a native of Toronto.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Niagara Falls and Flagler Chapter 355, Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and solving crossword puzzles.
Her husband, N. Kenneth, died in 1992.
Survivors include three sons, Gerald of Schoharie, Wilbur of Decatur, Ill., and Larry of Ransomville; a brother, Victor Giles of Wellandport, Ont.; a sister, Millicent Gossard; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
