OCT. 29 IS DEADLINE FOR ABSENTEE BALLOTS

Voters who are out of the country on Election Day can get an absentee ballot by calling the Erie County Board of Elections or submitting an application postmarked no later than Oct. 29.

Voters also can go to the board at 134 W. Eagle St. to use an absentee ballot up to the day before Election Day.

For the convenience of voters, the board will keep its office open until 7 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Oct. 29 and 31, and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday and Nov. 2.
