Lottie R. "Fudge" Piershalski, 77, died Friday (Oct. 18, 1996) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a brief illness.
Born in Luzerne, Pa., the former Lottie Ruskowski had been a Niagara Falls resident for 55 years. She worked as a waitress in several restaurants in the area.
She was a member of St. John de LaSalle Catholic Church. Her hobby was playing bingo.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph S.; three sons, Joseph of Buffalo, and John A. and Stephen W. of Grand Island; three daughters, Theresa Zeidel of Depew, Marie Nashwinter of Youngstown and Diane Shaffer; a brother, Casmier Ruskowski of Elizabeth, N.J.; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. John de LaSalle Catholic Church, 8469 Buffalo Ave., after prayers at 9 in Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston.
