Former Depew resident Arthur E. Ross, 68, of Merrimack, N.H., died Thursday (Oct. 17, 1996) in his home after a brief illness.
Born in Port Colborne, Ont., he served in the Army during the Korean War and served for many years in the Army National Guard. He lived in Depew before moving to Merrimack 20 years ago.
Before retirement, he was a warehouse supervisor for Digital Equipment Co. in Nashua, N.H. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Merrimack.
Survivors include his wife, the former Rose Marie Doherty; a son, Laurence; three daughters, Sharon Zietler of Hamburg, Linda Jackson of Madison, Ohio, and Catherine Anderson of Seattle; two stepdaughters, Marybeth Egloff of Merrimack and Maureen Lachance of Peterborough, N.H.; a sister, Marjorie Wickenhiser of East Amherst; and nine grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Mercy Church. Burial will be in Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack.
