Diana G. Kraus, 55, of Amherst died Monday (Oct. 14, 1996) in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst.
Born Diana Olech in Buffalo, she was a graduate of Villa Maria Academy and earned a bachelor's degree in history from the University at Buffalo in 1963.
She worked as an administrative secretary for the Greater Buffalo Partnership Educational Alliance for the past three years. Previously, she worked at Buffalo Forge and Care Mark.
Mrs. Kraus enjoyed people and loved to cook. She and Charles S. Kraus were married in 1982.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her father, Longin Olech of Cheektowaga; a sister, Sharon Zoeller of Cheektowaga; three stepsons, Todd Kraus of Hamburg, Douglas Kraus of Los Angeles and Gregory Kraus of Depew; a stepdaughter, Karen Pazdzidor of Columbus, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Friday in SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 5480 Main St., Williamsville. Burial will be in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
