A reception was given in Lake Erie Italian Club before the newly married couple left for Hawaii. They will make their home in Blasdell.
A graduate of Daemen College, the bride is employed by Hamburg Health Care Center as a physical therapist.
The bridegroom is attending Buffalo State College and is a lithographer at Multi-Image Graphics Inc.
Mary Beth Van Dusen and Willis L. Putney, graduates of Brockport State College, were married Saturday at 2 p.m. in Baker Memorial United Methodist Church, East Aurora. The Rev. Richard A. Danielson heard the vows of the daughter of James L. and Linda A. Van Dusen of Watertown and son of Bruce R. and Kareen D. Putney of East Aurora. A reception was given in Sheraton Hotel Buffalo. After a Caribbean cruise, the couple will live in East Aurora. A registered nurse in Buffalo General Hospital, the bride is a graduate of Sisters Hospital School of Nursing. The bridegroom is sales manager of Advantage Trucks.
